Our favourite way to make an everyday basic feel more interesting is to do something completely unexpected – like adding darts to our Blair sweatshirt. It's a technique normally used in tailoring, but we love how it brings a touch of structure to the relaxed fit, the dropped shoulders and the keyhole opening at the back.

• Warm iron on reverse
