HANNAH EMERY

We’re at that point in summer when we feel like shaking things up a little – and our new collection is full of pieces to do it. Bermuda shorts give us a fresh silhouette, we’ve put a twist on sequins, and we’ve got embellished accessories for a little attitude (and excitement). The best bit? They’re all pieces we can carry with us into the next season – because everything we invest in now needs to survive the switch-over.

The Sunset Dress This piece is for those of us who’re shy of colour but want an alternative to neutrals. Taking inspiration from those golden hour summer sunsets, the Leanne ombre maxi is a softer, more painterly take on bright colours. Designed with a relaxed cut (so there’s room for plenty of movement), this is one for easy days and long, laid-back evenings.

The Bermuda Short  Bermudas (or jorts, as we’re calling them) are the shorts that people who don’t wear shorts will love. Trust us, they’re much easier to style than you think. Cut just below the knee (so practical) and made from super-soft 100% cotton denim, they’re the new all-rounder to make the upcoming wardrobe transition just that little bit easier. Whether dressed up with a sequin T-shirt or down with a lightweight sweatshirt, this shape is all about wearability.

The Dinner PyjamasThere’s something so nice about wearing clothes comfy enough to sleep in to dinner with friends. If that sounds like your thing, look no further than our Rita co-ord. As comfy as your favourite pyjamas (but with that luxe feel, thanks to being made from soft material) this set is a great throw-on for when you want something uncomplicated but put-together. Think late night dinner parties at your best friend’s place – paired with flats and your favourite jewellery, of course.

The Outfit Elevating Leather BagYou don’t have to save that nice little bag for a weekend or night out, because our Hush-favourite Rory crossbody bag just got a studded update. It’s perfect for adding a subtle style note to both your wardrobe fail-safes and your most worn outfits. Made from leather (so you don’t have to worry about it wearing) and designed with ample cramming-in space, this is our new take-everywhere bag.

The 'Something Special' TeeThis is one to add to your nice top rotation on those days that you’re after something a little bit special. It’s got a subtle sparkle (thanks to the silver sequins) but still has that effortless feel thanks to its classic T-shirt cut. Pair it with jeans, your favourite ballet flats and whatever gold accessories you’re loving at the moment.

The Failsafe DressPleated, bright and just the right balance between oversized and body skimming, the Molly maxi dress will become one of those pieces in your wardrobe that you go to over and over. It’s also the piece we’re wearing to the last of this season’s fun plans – late summer weddings, impromptu trips abroad, the family BBQ. But don’t be fooled, this frock will take you into next season too. Just throw on a blazer and boots and you’re ready to go.

The Ballet Flat, UpdatedWe’ve loved our ballet flats for a while now, but this August, we’re making them the focus of our looks. Whether you opt for bright red or metallic leather (a surprisingly versatile neutral) and crystal studs for an injection of joy, add a bit of edge with our new statement styles. Treat them as your new (but comfier) heel and these reimagined ballet flats will become a new fundamental part of your summer wardrobe.

The Sparkly SlipDon’t let the sequins fool you, the Anais skirt will become your day-to-day essential, trust us. We’re treating silver sparkles as our new neutral. Why? Because it looks great with everything and we can’t get enough of the shine. Cut in that easy slip style, pair with gum sole trainers or clogs – and reach for this on the days you want to make a subtle statement.
